A LITTLE ABOUT ME...

I have owned and loved dogs nearly my entire life. What started out as getting Beagle pups for my dad's hunting interests, quickly turned into fun family pets with daily care routines and cuddles. We added many dogs to our family over the years. I moved out of my family home and graduated CSCC with an associates decree in Dental Hygiene and bought my own condo with my own dog Benson.

In 2011, I had the opportunity to shadow at Doran's Canine College. There Brett McKnight showed me the in's and out's of dog training and kennel management. This fueled my interest and I pursued training at Gahanna's National K-9 Learning Center. 

Benson and I went through the Master Trainer course, where he and I graduated with our Canine Good Citizen. Benson and I went on to train for 2 years at Lewis Center's ACME Canine, 6 years at The Dog Trainer and 2 years at Doran's Canine College. During my training time I was able to do things that I would never imagine myself doing and that I am forever grateful.

I was able to host a READing Dogs program. This is where we teach owners to teach their dogs "Paw to Page" or "Nose to Page" in an effort to help children learn how to read in a fun and interesting way, with the best and most supportive companions ever!

I was able to train a Columbus Blue Jackets player and his family's Golden Retriever. I was able to train an OSU Buckeye Basketball player and his dog, a Cane Corso. And I believe my medical background gave me an advantage to deal with emergencies. When one did happen, I was able to save a dog's life until an emergency vet could arrive on site. 

I trained many rescue dogs and their fosters in order to help them find long lasting and loving homes. I firmly believe in training owners to be consistent and to breakdown training into smaller, more achievable steps to help reach their goals. And I believe this is what helped those dogs find their forever homes. 

In 2019, I bought my home in Galloway and started my own boarding and training business. Though, I am not training anymore, my focus is more so on creating a quality boarding experience. An experience where your dog can come back knowing they will have a place to romp around, they will get cuddles and unlimited peanut butter Kongs. You will get assurance knowing your dog is safe and looked after with the care that you would give them. My boarding rates reflect all-inclusive pricing of $70/night. You will not have to pay extra for extra play times, Kong treats or raised cots, like other places. You also get updates through a private Facebook page where you will see photos and videos of your pup playing. I am located on the SW side of Columbus and serve many areas including Dublin, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, Grandview Heights, Grove City and Galloway.
